កម្មករជិត៣ម៉ឺននាក់ នៅព្រឹកថ្ងៃពុធនេះ មកដល់ទីលានប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ ដោយទាមទារឲ្យរាជរដ្ឋាភិបាល ដំឡើងប្រាក់ឈ្នួលកម្មកររហូតដល់ទៅ១៦០ដុល្លារ។
ការតវ៉ាជាទ្រង់ទ្រាយធំនេះ ធ្វើឡើង បន្ទាប់ពីក្រសួងការងារ បានសម្រេចដំឡើងប្រាក់ឈ្នួលដល់កម្មកររោងចក្រកាត់ដេរក្នុងរយៈ១ឆ្នាំៗ ចាប់ពី១៥ដុល្លារ ដល់១៧ដុល្លារ ក្នុងរយៈពេល៥ឆ្នាំ ចាប់ពីឆ្នាំ២០១៤ដល់ឆ្នាំ២០១៨។ សេចក្ដីសម្រេចនេះបានបូកជាមួយប្រាក់ខែគោលមានស្រាប់ចំនួន៨០ដុល្លារ នៅឆ្នាំ២០១៤នេះ ដែលធ្វើឲ្យកម្មករអាចទទួលបានប្រាក់ខែគោលចំនួន៩៥ដុល្លារ ហើយរហូតដល់ឆ្នាំ២០១៨ ទើបកម្មករទទួលបានប្រាក់ខែគោល១៦០ដុល្លារ។ ប៉ុន្តែសេចក្ដីសម្រេចនេះ បានធ្វើឲ្យមេដឹកនាំសហជីពមួយចំនួនសម្ដែងការខកចិត្ត ហើយព្រមានធ្វើការតវ៉ា។
កម្មករ ដែលកំពុងតវ៉ាទាំងនោះ មកពីជាង៣០រោងចក្រនៅរាជធានីភ្នំពេញ និងតាមបណ្តាខេត្តមួយចំនួន ដូចជាខេត្តកំពង់ចាម និងស្វាយរៀងជាដើម។កម្មករមួយចំនួនទៀត កំពុងតែដើរដង្ហែសំដៅមកទីលានប្រជាធិបតេយ្យ ដើម្បីតវ៉ារួមគ្នា។ កម្មករបានទាមទារឲ្យដំឡើងប្រាក់ឈ្នួលដល់ទៅ១៦០ដុល្លារ និងព្រមានឲ្យរដ្ឋាភិបាលចុះចេញពីតំណែង ប្រសិនបើមិនមានសមត្ថភាពក្នុងការដំឡើងប្រាក់ឈ្នួលសម្រាប់កម្មករ៕

I said few years ago thing will happen to those business found Cambodia as cheap labor. Now it come to identify error when workers have quickly learnt to recognize their right pay scale. The pay rate in Cambodia within year 2015 must fairly balance among member of ASEAN countries. If only Cambodia pay rate so low while others members pay high then ASEAN member must review its policy to end Cambodia conflict.

In order to getting a fair and affordable salary for earning their living, we should not just look at raising base salary, but we should look into creating new skills and experiences, whereby workers can get better pay and supports, through changing news skills and positions. For instance, they can change from a normal worker to become a supervisor or a kind of specialist, thus s/he can get higher pay, let say raising from US$120 per month to US$200 or US$300, this practice will motivate our workers from working harder to working smarter!
I wish to urge our Government officials, Laborer Unions and Factory Owners should define a clear human resource development strategies, thus workers can fully understand and adopt it. I believe that through this vision, all of us will be reached a win-win situation in term of success business as well as our workers will enjoy their new future!

Minimum wage 160$/month is resonable for woker can survive. If government official, want to khow how workers suffers of today salary I suggest sending their own child or wife to work in factory just one month, then you’ll khow.

As I have said, political turmoil is unavoidable if there is still no real resolution related to the uprising. Electoral irregularity, social injustice, corruption, exploitation and human rights violation are the key issues and top priority that the oppressive government need to be placed on top of its agenda. If the stubborn leaders are still resisting without reasonable compromise, more and more protesters will turn into the street making the situation worsening and wildly out of control. The minimum wage of $160 a month is still not enough for a living under high inflation rate.
I Hun Sen don’t approve no raise, because factory owners pays me 20% of their profits each quarter. Raising salary for workers would cut into my take of profits from companies. Its what companies are paying me for to oppress and exploit the cheap workers, so that Companies and I and my families can have millions of dollars through the workers sweats and sufferings. Its and long standing arrangements between my party with the companies. So that why through all these years any workers protests are brutally suppress to keep my sell out for my take of the profits.
If you Khmer worker don’t have enough food to eat go to the pagodas and scrape up any left over from the monks…problem solved.
